The Media Office of the Ata'a Movement continues to report on the latest developments in the political deliberations within the Reconstruction and Development Coalition. The Coalition's regular meeting, chaired by Mr. Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani, was attended by all leaders and members and featured in-depth discussions on the ongoing political and security developments in the country.
This meeting comes within the framework of activating constructive dialogue among the various political forces, in line with the national responsibility the Coalition bears during this critical period.
Through this statement, the Reconstruction and Development Coalition reiterates its full commitment to the constitutional timelines for forming the next government and emphasizes the importance of the upcoming government program—politically, economically, and in terms of security—in a way that enables it to address current challenges and fulfill the aspirations of the Iraqi people for reconstruction, development, and prosperity. The Coalition also reaffirms its support for its candidate for Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani, based on his successful previous experience leading the executive branch and the fact that the Coalition represents the largest bloc within the Coordination Framework and the largest bloc in the Council of Representatives.
